STS Vessel Planetary Mixer

The STS Vessel Planetary Mixer is a high-performance system that combines planetary mixing + high speed complex dispersion + vacuum degassing to achieve uniform material mixing and maximize degassing efficiency.
It is specifically optimized for applications that require precise mixing and bubble removal, such as battery slurries, electrode materials, high viscosity compounds, and polymer composites.

Operating Principle

Three key actions - planetary mixing, complex dispersion, and vacuum degassing - are applied simultaneously to ensure fast and efficient mixing of materials. 

  • Planetary Mixing (Revolution + Rotation)
    The twist paddle performs planetary motion around the center of the stainless steel vessel, maximizing the mixing effect through combined revolution and self rotation.

  • Complex Dispersion Agitation (Centrifugal Force + Vortex Flow)
    The paddle rotates along the same trajectory as its planetary motion, generating both centrifugal force and vortex flow to rapidly disperse and mix high viscosity or complex materials.

  • Vacuum Degassing
    Air bubbles generated during mixing and dispersion are effectively removed using a vacuum pump, resulting in a homogeneous, bubble free mixture.

  • Double-Jacket STS304 Vessel
    The double layered mixing vessel (inner and outer walls) can be connected to an external circulation system to maintain a controlled temperature range from -10°C to 200°C.
    A temperature sensor embedded in the jacket structure allows real-time monitoring of the current heating or cooling status.

  • Gearbox Protection Cover
    The fully sealed gearbox prevents lubricant contamination and blocks external powder or material contact.
    The flat bottom design of the gearbox ensures no residue buildup and allows for easy cleaning and maintenance.

    • Manual Mode:
      Set a single segment with mixing speed, dispersion speed, and operation time. Operates under full vacuum.

    • Automatic Mode:
      Create up to 20 customized programs (29 segments per program), including mixing speed, dispersion speed, operation time, and pause intervals.
      Vacuum level is automatically controlled (up to -90 kPa) based on the degassing requirements.

  • Ultra-High Strength Dual Stainless Steel Mixing Paddles
    Mixing paddles are made from Super Duplex Stainless steel, offering superior strength, hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
    Precisely engineered and machined to ensure stable mixing, vacuum integrity, and long-term durability.
